"I had problems with the installation of 2 velux windows in my single storey extension. I contacted Velux directly to ask for their advice. I was put in touch with Andrew Spencer (Living Solutions Ltd) by my local Velux representative as he is an approved Velux installer.

Andrew came round and inspected the work (now 2 years old) and was able to tell me what he could do and offered the best course of action. He clearly knew the Velux products and how they 'should' be installed and was able to give me hope that this could be resolved successfully. Andrew provided a quote, gave me options within the quote to save money (if spare parts were not required) which was excellent, we ordered them in case, but then were able to return them unused as they weren't required.

Once we agreed on a date, the rectification work was carried out within a day, I could tell as he was re-assembling that this was a far better job than the original builder had attempted. It just set my mind at rest that they were now properly installed. He was happy to chat and supplied plenty of photos of the previously poor work should I need this.

Andrew was polite, careful working around my finished kitchen and clean and tidy whilst carrying out the work. I have no hesitation recommending him as a tradesman."

One of the first things that impressed me about this company was the prompt and efficient communication, where time was taken to explain the process and details of the necessary work. As a first time property owner with no experience whatsoever in windows, I found this reassuring and felt that I was entrusting the work to safe hands. Indeed, this proved to be so, as the finished result is excellent; the new window was fitted neatly (this included alterations to timber- and plasterwork), and the old window was removed and disposed of.
